Forest Whisky. Blend Number Twenty Seven

We have distilled Cheshire Barley & Oats with wild yeast and our own spring water. 

This was then matured in Oak below the Cat & Fiddle for 3 years, before being blended with other selected whiskies here at the distillery. 

A final, sumptuous stage of flavour was then added, by resting the blend in a 50 year old Oloroso cask here in our cellars.

The result is a delicious smooth whisky with a light sweetness of the very highest quality.

Non chill filtered

No colourings or flavourings added

The bottle is English porcelain by Wade Ceramics and there are only 400 bottles of this in existence.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Golden Sunset

Nose. Sugared almonds, Baked Biscuits, Candied Orange

Palette: Toffee apples, Shortbread, Sweet raisins

Finish. Soft wood, sweet vanilla

This has been bottled at 47% ABV in 700ml porcelain bottles using our own spring water.

The bottles are polished black porcelain with a papercut by the artist Georgia Low glazed with real gold.
