Our First Wedding Fayre
We're delighted to be hosting our very first Wedding Fayre at Forest Distillery, set within the stunning surroundings of the Cat and Fiddle, on Sunday 19th July 2026.
Perched high above the Peak District, our venue offers something truly different for couples seeking an unforgettable wedding reception. This special event has been designed to showcase not only the beauty of the distillery and its spectacular setting, but also the talented local suppliers who can help bring your dream day to life.
A Different Kind of Wedding Fayre
Unlike traditional wedding fairs, we've created an experience that feels immersive, stylish and intimate. Rather than simply browsing stands, you'll have the opportunity to explore the venue, soak up the atmosphere and genuinely imagine celebrating your wedding day with family and friends here in the forest.
Throughout the day, you'll meet a carefully curated selection of local wedding specialists, including florists, photographers, caterers, bridalwear experts, cake designers, stationers and entertainment providers.
Whether you're newly engaged and just starting your planning journey, or putting the finishing touches on your big day, it's the perfect opportunity to gather inspiration and connect with some of the region's finest wedding suppliers.
What's Included?
Although tickets are completely free, every guest will receive:
- A complimentary arrival drink, choosing from a Forest Gin or Whisky Highball

- Live music throughout your visit

You'll also be able to browse our distillery shop, filled with our award-winning spirits and beautifully curated gifts.
Event Details
Date: Sunday 19th July 2026
Session Times:
- 11:00am – 12:30pm
- 12:30pm – 2:00pm
- 3:00pm – 4:30pm
- 4:30pm – 6:00pm
To preserve the intimate atmosphere of the event, attendance is limited to just 40 guests per session. Tickets are free, but spaces are expected to fill quickly.
Planning Your Visit
Free parking is available at the Cat and Fiddle Inn. Please note that our Smart Parking system is in operation, so you'll need to enter your vehicle registration into the iPad provided on arrival.
For those travelling by public transport, the High Peak 58 bus service stops directly outside the venue.
Please note that this is a cashless event and most major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted during the Wedding Fayre.
