Frequently Asked Questions

Do you serve food at The Cat & Fiddle?

We do not serve food at The Cat & Fiddle.

We have an extensive alcoholic beverage and soft drinks menu which includes a selection of nuts, crisps and olives.

Occasionally we have pop-up kitchens, guest chefs and food trucks, so keep an eye on our social media pages for the latest events.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes – we love well-behaved dogs in our bar, shop and outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, dogs can’t come on distillery tours.

What is your snow policy?

Due to our high-altitude location, if it snows we usually close our doors. You can keep an eye on Our Facebook Page for regular updates or phone us on 01260 253245 to find out before travelling.

If you are booked on to a Distillery Tour or event, we will contact you to confirm closure and arrange an alternative date.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have a private carpark which is free for customers to use. You will need to enter your vehicle registration number into our parking system upon arrival to avoid receiving a fine.

Avona Escapes (Near CW12 area): A highly recommended, campsite on the edge of the Peak District, offering plenty of space for tents without designated pitches.

Pub Accommodation: The Cat & Fiddle itself does not offer camping, but it is a, popular stop for travellers in the area.

Amenities: Sites like Berry Bank Farm and Avona Escapes offer basic facilities, including toilets and water.
