Forest Whisky Gift Box containing Blend Number 29. THE gift for the whisky lovers! Contains: 1 x 70cl Forest Whisky Blend 29 1 x Forest Branded Glencairn tasting glass Our whisky starts with Cheshire barley, fermented with wild yeast and pure spring water from our own source. It is aged in oak casks beneath the Cat & Fiddle for three years, before being carefully blended with other select whiskies at our distillery. The blend is then given a final, indulgent layer of flavour by resting in a 50-year-old Oloroso cask within our cellars. The result is an exquisitely smooth whisky, with a light sweetness and exceptional quality. Non-chill filtered, with no added colourings or flavourings.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Golden sunset
Nose: Sugared almonds, baked biscuits, candied orange
Palette: Toffee apples, shortbread, sweet raisins
Finish. Soft wood, sweet vanilla
This has been bottled at 47% ABV in 700ml bottles. The bottles are polished black porcelain with a papercut by the artist Georgia Low glazed with real gold. The shape of the Glencairn glass is perfectly suited for fine spirits and is designed to enhance the overall experience, from start to finish including the important, nosing and tasting.
